AIM

The aim of the course is to prepare foreign students to pass ‘Entrance Tests’ required for admission into various government primary and secondary schools as well as the polytechnics and Universities in Singapore

SSUBJECTS COVERED

Three main subjects namely English, Mathematics and Science are generally covered.  This programme will also introduce students to the Singapore education system and various relevant information which will help foreign students get adjusted to the Singapore schools quickly.

PRE-REQUISITIES

No formal minimum education is required.  The course is intended for students aged 7 to 17 years.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

• Foreign students who intend to enroll into Singapore government primary and  secondary schools.

• Foreign students who intend to enroll into the Polytechnics and the universities in Singapore
• Anyone who wants to improve his/her English proficiency and wishes to prepare for admission to other schools and institutions.

TEACHING STAFF

The course is taught by well qualified and experienced teachers; registered and approved by Ministry of Education, Singapore.  Teachers who specialised in the preparation of students are deployed to teach this course.  Since our establishment since 1987, Coleman College has achieved 100% success in helping our students to gain admission into primary and secondary schools.

PROGRESS REPORTS

Students are given regular assessments and closely monitored to ensure that they progress rapidly.  Monthly ‘Progress Reports’ are given out to parents and guardians to keep them informed of the progress of their child/ward.

TIME-TABLE

Students will attend lessons daily from Mondays to Fridays from 9.30am to 5.00pm.
